FAQ

“As the director of a children’s ballet company, I am inspired by music, dance, nature and Shakespeare. I have created whimsical jewelry that dances about the wrist and neck on wire.“

What is Robin Goodfellow Designs?
Robin Goodfellow Designs is a ten-year-old jewelry design house featuring the creative designs of Robin Satterthwaite. Satterthwaite is an exclusive designer to the company and is continuously creating new designs to keep the lines new and fresh.

So, Robin Goodfellow Designs is made in the United States?
All of the jewelry sold by Robin Goodfellow Designs is made in Holland, Michigan near the shores of Lake Michigan. Pieces are created by our talented artists in our fully functioning studio.

What is the jewelry made of?
Pieces are produced using silver or gold-plated wire, Swarvoski crystals, glass pearls, metal and glass beads, and freshwater pearls. The chains used in the designs are brass but do not tarnish. A strong selling point for our jewelry is our magnetic closures featured on many styles of the necklaces and bracelets.

Is it fragile and how can I care for it?
The wire-twisting techniques used by our artists ensures high-quality pieces. This being said, our jewelry is delicate and should be cared for in a gentle way (i.e. don’t pack it in the bottom of your suitcase). Specific pieces, such as the Pixies and Tendrils, can get a little kinked with wear. To straighten out a necklace simply run your thumb and index finger over the side-beads toward the magnet from the middle. By applying some pressure you will straighten out your necklace.

What is your return policy?

What is In a Nutshell and In a Seashell?
Crack the walnut open or pull the pearl tab in the seashell and a necklace is inside. There are six pendant styles for In a Nutshell and two pendant styles for In a Seashell. The color style is indicated on the back of the card attached to the organza bag and we provide display photographs so you can show your customers exactly what they are getting. If you purchase 48, we will send you a small tree (the $30 value) for free.

What is your minimum order?
Robin Goodfellow Designs has no minimum. We would rather you try a few pieces and make sure it’s a right fit for your store. We also have experience in what pieces sell best in specific types of store. For consultation on this please contact our studio.
